Right now I am specializing in stators that have either 1 big ignition coil (you see them more on 1980's early 1990's sleds) or 2 ignition coils like the one in my video. Newer stators (2002 and newer for most models) have a different design where there are 3,4 or even 5 ignition coils wound with much larger diameter wire and have a much lower failure rate. I charge $150 if you send me your stator to rewind. I have a couple of cores/dead stators in my bench so if someone had a stator that was destroyed (Maybe the recoil exploded, magnet in the flywheel let loose, stator bolts came out and it hit the flywheel ect..) I may have one that I can rewind. If I use one of my cores it is $175. Turn around time is 1 to 2 days after I receive it I will have it back in the mail.
